PrEP
PrEP stands for Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis. PrEP has been proven effective in preventing HIV infection when taken as prescribed. Patients who receive a negative HIV test are eligible to meet with one of our providers to discuss their PrEP options. Financial assistance may be available to those who qualify.
Is PrEP Right For Me?
Alder Health Services offers HIV prevention through PrEP treatment in a safe and affirming environment. PrEP isn’t right for everyone. PrEP may be the right option if you:
- Don’t regularly use condoms.
- Engage in sexual activities with persons living with HIV.
- Regularly engage in unprotected anal or vaginal sex with more than one partner.
